iTooSoft DVD Ripper is a DVD ripper for Windows computers. The application has excellent output support and it even has some conversion profiles for mobile video and audio playback devices, phones, and video game consoles. The list of supported formats is too big, but some of them are: ASF, AVI, DV, H.264, MPEG-4, MOV, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, and RM, among a few others.
The graphical user interface is made up of three major components. First, there is a video player to the right of the screen that allows you to preview your video and to take snapshots of it as well. To the left of the player is the list of titles and chapters of your DVD. iTooSoft DVD Ripper separates the DVD movie in chapters, and you can choose to convert some or all of them. At the very bottom of the screen are the conversion profiles. They are neatly organized into categories like "common video", "common audio", and into devices. From there you can select the output format that you would want for your DVD movie. Above the profile drop-down menu are two other menus that allow you to select your audio and subtitle tracks.
I converted a single title into MOV using this converter and I didn't experience any problems other than a little sync problem between audio and video. The title was 5 minutes long and it took less than 1 minute to convert.
